It's time to get back to the action of the PGA Tour Latinoamerica, with the Colombia Classic as the second competition of that tour being played in our country. In this report, the Colombia Golf Federation gives more details regarding the Monday Qualy that will award eight spots for the final field. This Qualy will be played in Monday, October 24th 2016 in Club Campestre de Cali.

Information about the Qualification Tournament to the Colombia Classic 2016
With this document, we publish the terms of competition of the Monday Qualy for the Colombia Classic, to be played on Monday 24th, 2016, at Club Campestre de Cali.
This qualifier will award 8 spots to the tournament.
The Organization Committee invites professional and amateur golfers with an index under 3,0 who want to get one of those spots available for the Colombia Open to the Monday Qualy. This competition will be played on Monday, October 24th at 7:00 a.m. in the host club (Club Campestre de Cali).
The cost of this qualy will be:
Members of PGA TOUR Latinoamerica: US $100 or 300.000 Colombian Pesos (COP)
NON Members of PGA TOUR Latinoamerica: US $200 or 600.000 Colombian Pesos (COP)

In the message you must attach the signed Register Form with all the information requested as well as a copy of the bank deposit. The player will receive another email with an acceptance response to the Qualy and a proof of receipt.
|1.||To the Colombia Classic the first eight (8) players in the Qualy will receive a spot to be part of the tournament. In the case of ties, these will be resolved in a playoff starting at the holes designated by the Organization Committee, eliminating the highest ‘scores’ until finding one or more winners.|
Starting at the 9º place, the players will receive an ‘Alternate’ status. If the tournament field lower from 132 players, those alternates will fill the available spots. In the case of ties, these will be resolved in a playoff, starting at the holes that will be designated by the Organization Committee, eliminating the highest ‘scores’ until reaching one or more winners.
If one of the qualified players can’t make it to the Colombia Classic, the immediate alternate will take his place.
Once classified, the player should continue the registration process to the Organization Committee of the Colombia Classic.
The classification will be played in one day, Monday, October 24th, under the Stroke Play Format – 18 holes.
The qualy will be played under the Rules of Golf of the R&A adopted by the Colombia Golf Federation, and the local rules of the Club Campestre de Cali.
Tee times will be poste don the club headquarters on Sunday, October 23th and in the website of the Colombia Golf Federation (www.federacioncolombianadegolf.com)
The PGA Tour Latinoamerica will decide about the alternates, according to the PGA Tour Latinoamerica tournament’s regulation. The Organization Committee reserves the right to make changes that guaranties the normal development of the qualifying tournament.

Tee marks: Championship
Rule of one ball: During a stipulated round, the player must use identical golf balls in terms of Brand, type, model and compression.
Cell Phones: The usage of cell pones and radios are forbidden during the stipulated round. Any Telephone or radio sound during the stipulated round will be taken as a breach of Rules of Etiquette and will be punished in accordance with Section I of the Rules of Golf
Exception: The only calls allowed are those requesting rules assistance. Attire: The use of shorts, jeans (denim shorts included) or shirts without collars and / or sleeves is forbidden. The use of golf shirts collarless type ‘mock neck’ but with sleeves is permitted.
Suspension of play: A prolonged notes of a siren or flyer.
Cancelation of play: Three consecutive notes of a siren, repeated or three flyings.
Resumption of play: Two short notes of siren or two flyings.
End of competition: The competition is officially closed once the final results are published.
